COVID-19: People above 50 to be vaccinated from March 30

Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar has announced that everybody above 50 years of age across the country would be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 from 30th of March. He made the announcement in a tweet on Friday.

In his tweet, Asad Umar who is also Chairman, National Command and Operation Center, said that people above 50 years of age would be permitted to register themselves in the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination campaign from March 30.

He also asked the masses to tell everyone who is above 50 to register him/herself for the vaccination.

It is important here that registration for the people above sixty years of age and older is already in process.
