University of Lahore (UoL) relieved Dr Mujahid Kamran of his services as rector upon his own request on Thursday.
As per an office order issued on Thursday, UoL’s rector Dr Mujahid Kamran has been relieved of his duty as rector with the approval of the competent authority.
Professor Dr Muhammad Zuber, Dean, Faculty of Sciences has been promoted to the post of rector with immediate effect.
Dr Mujahid Kamran served the UoL for 3 years and nine months as rector and before that he had been serving the University of the Punjab as vice chancellor for nine years.
