Gandapur marches towards Islamabad despite Naqvi’s warning

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa(KPK) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur is marching towards Punjab for Pakistan Tareek Insaf’s (PTI) protest today in D-Chowk Islamabad despite Interior Minister Moshin Naqvi’s warning.

Reportedly, CM Ali Amin Gandapur with PTI supporters is marching towards Islamabad for a peaceful protest at D Chowk in Islamabad. The section 144 has already been imposed in Islamabad and Lahore for two days. In addition to that, federal authorities have also blocked all the routes leading towards Islamabad.

Minister for Interior Moshin Naqvi during a media talk on October 3, 2024, warned PTI leaders and asked them not to do such actions which are harmful for the country’s reputation as Malaysian prime minister is already on Pakistan’s visit. If anyone disrupts law and order, federal government will not exempt such elements, he added.

He further said that Ali Amin is a patriot Pakistani and such a call of protest during the visit of foreign dignitary doesn’t suit his position. He must consider the request of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman as he has also postponed his protest until the conduction of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

It is worth mentioning here that Naqvi has clearly said that Pakistan cannot afford even a minor security lapse and the government will not tolerate anyone and an indiscriminate action will be taken against all the law breakers.
