CT Newsroom

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that all the issues have been resolved with banned Tehreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) ensuring the writ of the state.

Talking to the journalists in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said that two hundred FIRs which were registered against the TLP workers would undergo the due legal process.

He informed the media that the government had also released at least six hundred and sixty-nine workers of TLP.

Talking about the ban on TLP, he said that the banned party could appeal against its banning within thirty days and a special committee would decide the appeal.

He further said that forty million rupees would be distributed among the families of the martyred and injured police officials.

He added that the state has ensured its writ while giving a message to all that no one is allowed to take the law into one’s own hands.

He also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan, on state level, would explain it to the Western world that any incident of blasphemy hurts Muslims.
