To mark October 27 as a black day, All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Democratic Freedom Party and other freedom movements called for a complete shutdown in the valley.
Protest demonstrations and rallies were also taken out in all the districts and tehsil headquarters of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to mark the Black Day.
A huge protest demonstration was also held at Central Press Club Muzaffarabad under the patronages of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell.
All the three radio stations of Azad Jammu and Kashmir also aired distinctive programmes about October 27 and its history.
