Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Monday that PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz was placing the public life in peril by arranging political meetings for personal benefits.
Farrukh wrote in a tweet that the majority of the people adhered to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) suggested and guided by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) that resulted in minimising the COVID-19 cases in the country in the recent days.

Talking to APP, Vice President PTI Rawalpindi city Mian Imran Hayat said despite knowing the dangers of the deadly virus and a threat alert already issued by the National Command and Control Center(NCOC), she put the people’s life into danger amid rising cases of COVID-19.
He questioned why it was necessary for her to pay a visit to party member Latif’s family in Sheikhupura who was arrested on charges of committing treason.
He further wrote that, on the other side, it was unfortunate that Maryam was arranging political meetings while going against the COVID-19 SOPs and putting the public life in danger for personal gains.
