China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that CPEC is an initiative of national development and no power on earth can stop it.
While talking to the businessmen at an event in Karachi on Tuesday, he said that the national leadership was firm to complete the projects under CPEC.
The army chief said that the nation was celebrating the birth anniversary “with great reverence and commitment upholding his message of hope, courage and confidence”.
“Faith, unity and discipline shall always remain guiding principles of our great nation.”
Prime Minister Imran, in his message, said: “Let us live the Quaid’s ideals of Unity, Faith and Discipline with a renewed national spirit so that we make this country rise above all seen and unseen challenges”.
He added that Jinnah had a firm faith in God and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which guided him through a long journey comprising of ordeals, deceptions and dejections but culminating in grandeur, décor and eternity.
President Arif Alvi said that we [the people] should reaffirm our commitment to building a state that respects the diversity of its masses and provide equal opportunities to its citizens irrespective of their religion, caste, creed or colour.
“On this day, we must also remember the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who are being subjected to the worst kind of state-terrorism for over seven decades,” the president added.
He briefed the business community that work on roads in Baluchistan, twelve factories at Gwadar free zone, Faisalabad and Rashakai economic zones, and western route of CPEC is underway. He also said that Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project will also be started soon.
