Services of internet and other communication sources were closed in several areas of Lahore after the Ministry of Interior wrote a letter to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in this regard on Friday.
As per the details, the Ministry of Interior wrote a letter to PTA for the suspension of internet and mobile services in different areas of Lahore where there is some chance of the gathering of some mob by Tehreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
As per the letter written to PTA, it is requested to the authority to suspend any type of communication in the areas of Data Sahib, Shahdara and New & Old Ravi Bridges with immediate effect till further orders.
