Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood along with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan held a press conference on Monday after Provincial Health Ministers and Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) meeting at the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
Though the officials said that all the educational institutions would remain closed from November 26, 2020 to January 11, 2021, at the same time, they announced that institutes for vocational learning and for training senior medical professionals would remain open.
Vocational training institutes have welcomed this decision of the government and promised to ensure the standard operating procedures (SOPs) at their campuses.
