Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed Pakistan’s armed forces successfully neutralized 12 Indian.

As per details, Director General (DG)  of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, during media briefing confirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces successfully neutralized 12 Indian Herap drones in response to a large-scale infiltration attempt on May 7 and 8.

He stated that India once again carried out a blatant act of military aggression by sending spy drones into Pakistani airspace at multiple locations.

The drones were intercepted and shot down in various areas including Lahore, Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chhor, and near Karachi.

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif added that Pakistan’s armed forces were on a high state of alert and acted swiftly to defend the country’s sovereignty.

In the Lahore incident, four Pakistan Army soldiers were injured when one of the drones targeted a sensitive area.

Fortunately, no civilian casualties have been reported so far.

The DG ISPR condemned the repeated Indian provocations and warned that such actions pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.

It is worth mentioning that Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to defending its territory and emphasized that the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any future aggression.

Pakistan downs Indian spy drones in multiple cities; two martyred, several injured

Indian spy drones were shot down in Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal , and Khenju area of Ghotki.

Reportedly, an Indian spy drone was shot down near Walton Road and Barki area in Lahore, and earlier, people in the area heard a loud explosion on Walton Road.

The drone, about 5 to 6 feet in size, was being controlled from across the border.

Police sources said the drone was brought down by jamming its system. It was being used to spy on sensitive locations.

According to the police, India tried but failed to attack the office of a major security agency in Walton using the drone. Security forces reacted quickly after spotting it.

The drone, carrying explosives, came very close to the building.

One farmer was a martyr in Lahore drone attack and the building was partly damaged.

Security in the area has been increased and put on high alert.

According to local sources, an Indian drone has also been shot down in the limits of Gujranwala.

Police say that the Indian drone came from Sialkot and was targeted in the limits of Gujranwala.

According to police, the wreckage of the destroyed Indian drone fell in the fields near the neighboring village of Toktaan.

According to the police, the drone crash in Ghotki took place within the limits of Dadlaghari police station. Two farmers were injured in the incident, one of whom died.

According to police sources, the drone crashed near Diwalian in Dhamman area of Chakwal, but no casualties were reported.

The police have taken possession of the drone wreckage and started an investigation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday for standing with Pakistan during this difficult time after Indian missile attacks.

Reportedly, President Erdogan called Prime Minister Shehbaz on Wednesday to express support. The prime minister appreciated the Turkish people’s prayers for those who lost their lives in the attacks.

In a post on social media, Shehbaz Sharif said he told President Erdogan about the brave response of Pakistan’s armed forces, who defended the country with courage and skill.

“We will defend our country no matter what. We’re thankful to Turkiye for helping promote peace in South Asia,” he added.

President Erdogan expressed sorrow over the loss of Pakistani lives and said Turkiye was ready to help as a loyal friend. He confirmed Turkiye’s support for Pakistan and said the Turkish people were praying for the success of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.

Pakistan mourned the deaths of 31 civilians on Wednesday after attacks by Indian forces, calling the actions “terrorism” and continuous violation of the Line of Control (LoC).

As per details, in the wake of the cowardly attack of India on innocent civilians early Wednesday resultant deaths of 31 civilians and 57 injuries

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that the national security advisers from both sides were in contact.

The Pakistani military claimed it shot down five Indian fighter jets, a victory they highlighted. Indian officials later confirmed that at least three of their planes had crashed within Indian territory.

On the same day, both countries continued to exchange heavy artillery fire. Pakistani officials reported that Indian strikes hit six locations  Ahmedpur East, Muridke, Sialkot, and Shakkargarh in Punjab, and Muzaffarabad and Kotli in Azad Kashmir causing significant damage.

The military spokesperson said that 57 people were injured and a hydropower project was also hit by Indian forces.

Muzaffarabad’s Deputy Commissioner, Mudasser Farooq, said that the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project was targeted, damaging its intake gates and a protective unit. An ambulance from the project was also struck.

Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reminded that under the Geneva Conventions, it is illegal to attack vital resources for civilians, such as water supplies and irrigation systems.

It is worth mentioning that the President of the United States Donald Trump called for an end of war and said, “I want to see it stop. And if I can do anything to help, I will. I will be there”.

Pakistan shot down two Indian Air Force (IAF) jets in response to Indian missile strikes on cities in Punjab and Azad Kashmir. 

As per details, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Indian planes fired missiles into Pakistani territory, prompting Pakistan to retaliate with air strikes.

“The Pakistani armed forces are giving a strong response to Indian aggression,” said the ISPR spokesperson.

According to security sources, Pakistan’s Air Force and Army are responding decisively to India’s attack.

Sources told Geo News that the deaths of innocent Pakistanis will be avenged, highlighting that only civilians have been targeted.

Images from the scene show that the victims were innocent, defenseless civilians, and every innocent Pakistani’s sacrifice will be avenged, sources added.

Lt Gen Chaudhry confirmed that India launched missile attacks on three locations: Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli. He condemned the attack, calling it “cowardly” and said the missiles came from inside India’s airspace.

“Our air force jets are in the air,” he said. “Pakistan will respond at a time and place of its choosing.”

Damage assessments are ongoing, and more details will be shared soon.

Late at night, loud explosions were heard in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, which led to a power outage. A military spokesperson said the temporary satisfaction India felt from the attack would be replaced by lasting grief.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that a war with India could happen anytime.

As per details, on Wednesday, India launched missiles on different cities of Punjab.

On Tuesday, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that a war with India could happen anytime.

He said on Geo News that, “Pakistan is fully ready to respond with full force, and if India tries to take even a small part of our land, it will be a big mistake and they will pay a heavy price”.

Pak-Indo tension started with Pahalgam attack, when 26 people were killed on April 22 in an attack on tourists in Pahalgam.

India blamed Pakistan without showing any proof and took several steps to cut ties including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, cancelling visas for Pakistanis, and closing the Wagah-Attari border crossing.

In response, Pakistan expelled Indian diplomats, cancelled Indian visas (except for Sikh pilgrims), and shut its side of the main border crossing.

Pakistan denies any role in the attack and has offered to join a fair and open investigation.

Earlier that day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Defence Minister Asif visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters. They were briefed on Pakistan’s military readiness, especially due to India’s aggressive behavior along the eastern border.

The briefing covered military threats, hybrid warfare, and terrorist activity. Asif said that during the meeting, officials warned that Indian aggression is likely — but Pakistan is ready to respond strongly. He warned India that any act of aggression will have serious consequences.

Asif also sent a strong message about water disputes, saying, “If India tries to block Pakistan’s water, they will suffer themselves.” He warned that any Indian construction to stop water flow would be destroyed.

When asked about India’s plans, Asif replied, “They can dream all they want, but those dreams will never come true.” He said Pakistan won’t stay silent if threatened and is fully prepared to defend itself.

He also mentioned that Indian Rafale jets recently flew close to the border, but Pakistan’s systems successfully jammed them.

India fired missiles into Pakistani-controlled areas early, killing an innocent child and injuring two more people.

As per details, India’s missiles hit three places: Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli. Local people said the attacks hit homes and caused panic in the area.

Pakistan’s army strongly condemned the attack. Military spokesperson Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry called it a “shameful and cowardly act” that hurt innocent civilians.

He said the Pakistani Air Force is ready to respond and that Pakistan will choose the right time to answer this aggression.

India said the strikes were part of Operation Sindoor and were aimed at militant bases. But Pakistan denied this, saying no such camps exist in those areas and that India used false claims to attack innocent people.

A man from Muzaffarabad said, “A missile hit near our home. My little nephew was outside and died on the spot. He was just a child. Why was he targeted?”

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has asked the international community to speak out against the attack. The government said India’s actions could make the situation between the two countries even more dangerous.

Pakistan carried out a counter-attack after Indian missiles hit cities in Punjab and Azad Kashmir.

As per details, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that India had fired missiles at three places in Pakistan: Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli.

DG ISPR says child martyred and mosque targeted in Bahawalpur, two civilians martyred in Kotli, vows “Pakistan will respond to this at a time and place of its own choosing.”

Calling the attack shameful and cowardly, he said all Pakistani air force jets are now in the air. “India attacked from its own airspace and never entered Pakistan’s airspace,” he added.

He warned, “Pakistan will respond to this attack at a time and place of its choice. This act will not go unanswered.”

Lt Gen Chaudhry said that teams are still checking the damage, and more information will be shared soon.

After midnight, people near Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir heard loud explosions, according to Reuters. These blasts caused a power outage, leaving the city in darkness.

The military spokesperson said India may feel happy for now, but that will soon turn into deep regret.

it is worth mentioninh here that this happened at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan are high. Recently, an attack in Indian-occupied Kashmir (Pahalgam) killed 26 tourists.

India blamed Pakistan without showing any proof.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, has expressed Pakistan’s deep concern over India’s recent actions in the wake of the Pahalgam incident.

As per details, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, has expressed Pakistan’s deep concern over India’s reaction with perspective to the threats to regional peace and stability.

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) closed door session was held on the request of Pakistan.

While addressing the media after a closed-door session, Ambassador Iftikhar emphasized that the Kashmir dispute remains unresolved even after more than seven decades, he said, “the Kashmir dispute is the central issue between Pakistan and India. It must be resolved in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people,”

The ambassador added that a lasting solution to the conflict is not possible without involving the Kashmiris.

Asim Iftikhar also highlighted the human rights violations in IIOJK, he condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by Indian forces against innocent civilians.

Ambassador Iftikhar firmly stated that Islamabad had no involvement and remains ready to fully cooperate in an independent, transparent, and internationally-led investigation.

He reminded the global community that Pakistan has been a frontline state in the fight against terrorism, having sacrificed over 90,000 lives. “Pakistan is committed to protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he asserted. “We have the right to defend ourselves.”

Ambassador Iftikhar also voiced strong opposition to India’s move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a violation of international law.

He stressed the importance of implementing Security Council resolutions for a durable peace in South Asia and reaffirmed Pakistan’s preference for dialogue as the only viable path to resolving all bilateral issues.

It is worth mentioning here that the ambassador expressed gratitude to the Security Council for convening the session to address the escalating situation.
