Khalid Taimur Akram, a well-known expert in international relations, has authored a book named “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind”. The book launch ceremony of the said book, jointly organized by the Communication University of China, Beijing, China, and Qinghai Minzu University, Xining, China, was held at the Hilton Hotel in Xining City, Qinghai Province.
Around 100 PhD scholars, professors, officials of Chinese government, and teaching staff of Communication University of China, Beijing, China, and Qinghai Minzu University, Xining, China attended the event.
Central Research Institute of Party History and Documentation former Vice President and Foreign Affairs Committee Member of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Professor Wei Haisheng; Institute for a Community with Shared Future at the Communication University of China Dean Professor Li Huailiang, School of Ethnology and Sociology at Qinghai Minzu University Dean Professor Guan Bingsheng, and Party Committee of Qinghai Minzu University Secretary Huang Shihe also graced the ceremony.
On the occasion, Professor Li Huailiang, in his opening speech, appreciated Khalid Taimur Akram for authoring a book on the idea of building a community with a shared future.
All attendees expressing their appreciation for the book said that it comprehensively covers all the aspects of the Chinese governance model and different sides of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Taimur Akram thanked the two universities in China for appreciating his book and wished that his book might help the students of social sciences and international relations understand the concept of a community with a shared future and Belt and Road Initiative.
The book “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind” contains comprehensive write-ups on the concept of a community with a shared future. These write-ups were published in various national and international media organisations. The book highlights the futuristic policies supported by President Xi Jinping, including some important steps such as Global Development Initiative (GDI), Global Civilization Initiative (GCI), and Global Security Initiative (GSI).
Khalid Taimur Akram is an expert of international relations, geo-strategic affairs, Belt and Road Initiative, and the Eurasian region. His proficiency in international relations has strengthened relationships and mutual understanding among the countries.
At the end of the ceremony, Khalid Taimur Akram presented his book to the guests of honour and the audiences.
