ECI highlights regional unity at photographic exhibition in Turkey

Economic Cooperation Organization’s(ECO) Cultural Institute (ECI), in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy of Pakistan and the Keçiören Municipality, hosted a remarkable photographic exhibition titled “Frames of Friendship: A Photographic Tribute to ECO Cultures” at the Esztergom Castle Turkish Cultural Center in Keçiören, Ankara.

As per details, on Tuesday, the photographic exhibition was conducted to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of ECO member states by showcasing the extraordinary work of six talented photographers.

During the exhibition, President of the ECO Cultural Institute Dr. Saad Khan emphasized the importance of promoting cultural cooperation between the ten ECO member states by showcasing each other’s calligraphy, poetry, painting, photographs, and music. He expressed his deep connection to Turkey and called it his second home. He also thanked the Embassy of Pakistan and the Kachoren Municipality for their support in organizing the exhibition.

Dr. Saad Khan appreciates the teamwork between ECI, the Embassy of Pakistan, and the Kachoren Municipality. Vice Mayor of Keçiören Municipality Atila Zorlu also spoke about his vision of making Kachoren a bridge for all ECO countries and emphasizing the need to foster deeper ties between the nations in the region.

Cultural Counsellor of Iran Dr. Ghasem Nazemiin Ankara, was among the distinguished guests present at the event, his presence is clear reflection of the strong cultural ties between ECO member states.

The exhibition featured the works of six photographers: Ali Tahir, Muzammil Hussain, Sajad Heydari, Aytaç Ünal, Aigerim Begimbet, and Samaneh Rustami. Representatives from ECO member states also attended, further enhancing the spirit of regional collaboration.

The splendid photographs offered a glimpse into the beauty, traditions, and unity of the ECO region. The event concluded with attendees commending the photographers and organizers for their contributions to fostering cultural diplomacy

The exhibition is open to the public at the Esztergom Castle Turkish Cultural Center in Keçiören for the next seven days
