Erdogan hails Pakistan’s unflinching support towards Palestinians

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hails Pakistan’s has hailed courageous help to the oppressed Palestinians.

He was having a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who met him at the president house in Ankara.

His remarks came during a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who called on him at the presidential palace in Ankara.

“Turkey will host the seventh meeting of Pakistan-Turkey high-level strategic cooperation council,” President Erdogan said while discussing the bilateral relations.

FM Qureshi said Pakistan and Turkey enjoy strong relations and share identical views on a host of issues.

Palestine on Friday expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s principled, steadfast and unflinching support to Palestine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The statement came during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Palestinian counterpart Dr Riyad Al Maliki, the statement said.

Dr Maliki appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan’s clear and unambiguous position on the recent crisis and thanked Pakistan for the consistent diplomatic support received to Palestine at regional and international fora.

He appreciated the Turkish President’s categorical stance on Kashmir and Palestine disputes.

Talking about the bilateral relations between both the countries, Tayyip Erdogan said his Turkey would host the 7th meeting of the Pakistan Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

In the meeting, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that both Pakistan and Turkey have strong relations and share the same perspective on almost every issue. He also praised the Turkish president’s clear stance on Kashmir and Palestine issues.
