President & PM vow for a high-performing educational system on World Teachers Day

On World Teachers Day, President Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their gratitude and showed their firm stance to support the noble profession of teaching.

As per details, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif receorded exclusive messages on World Teachers Day observed on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

The President in his message said, “On this day, let us reaffirm our commitment to empowering our teachers and ensuring that they receive the respect, support, and recognition they deserve. Let’s commit to improving our education system by investing in the capacity-building and professional development of our teachers.” Teachers are the architect of any society who build young minds and contribute in shaping our generation’s future, the president added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acknowledging the role of teachers said ,“The Government of Pakistan remains committed to honour the promise it has made with the teachers. We recognize the importance of a motivated and well-supported teaching workforce, and we will continue to invest in modern infrastructure and educational resources.”

The prime minister while talking about the importance of teachers, said, “They are the architects of our future, and their dedication is essential to the goal of becoming a knowledge-based economy. Without their efforts, we cannot achieve the aspirations we have set for ourselves as a nation. Today, we join the global community in celebrating World Teachers’ Day to recognise the valuable contribution of teachers to our nation’s future”.

“A country’s development is intrinsically tied to the education of its people, and it is through the tireless work of our teachers who instill the drive for progress and prosperity in our young generation. Let us celebrate the incredible impact of our teachers today and every day, and reaffirm our commitment to supporting them in their mission to educate and inspire the future leaders of Pakistan,” Prime Minister added.

The prime minister and president both showed their commitments to create a high-performing educational system that empowers both our students and teachers to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
