Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (Tamgha e Imtiaz) has been made a member of the board of governors of International Islamic University Islamabad IIUI’s BoG.
Dr. Bushra Mirza is an eminent educationist and is serving as the VC LCWU. She was earlier the Head of the Biochemistry Department at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. She completed her education at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad IIUI’s BoG. with distinction. Achieved Gold Medal in MSc and M.Phil. She chose Cambridge University for her Ph.D. and is a postdoctoral graduate of the University of North Carolina.
She has extensive teaching experience at the university level and has been awarded the Medal of Distinction by the Government of Pakistan for her services in this regard. She is the Chairperson of the ISESCO Women’s Chair for Science. She was also awarded the Pakistan Academy of Sciences Gold Medal as well as the Best Young Scientist Award by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. She was also nominated as a member of the special committee for formulating recommendations on education.
According to the details, President Dr arif Alvi has included Dr. Bushra Mirza in the IIUI’s board of governors.
Dr. Bushra Mirza, an eminent educationist, is already a part of various national-level educational committees.
