Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved a decrease of 1.79 rupees in petrol prices and 2.32 rupees in the price of diesel. New prices of the petroleum products will be applicable from April 16, 2021.
Finance Minister Hammad Azhar tweeted on Thursday that the price of Kerosene had been reduced by Rs 2.06 while the price of Light Diesel Oil had been decreased by 2.21.
He also wrote that the decrease in the prices of the petroleum products was a consecutive decrease after the reduction in petroleum prices by the government on 1st of April.
