Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday that young people in Balochistan were the country’s ‘asset and future’.
While talking to the students of the University of Turbat, he said that the federal government would release all-out funds for the uplift of the youth of Balochistan in education sector.
He further said that the government wanted to establish an intellectual base in Balochistan to come up to the challenges of the today’s world,.
Besides his visit at the university, Imran Khan spent the whole day in Turbat and announced different projects for the socio-economic uplift of Balochistan.
He said on the occasion that the government was fully firm to raise the standard of living of the people of Balochistan by giving them amenities in all areas especially education and health.
“You are the future leaders of Pakistan and the intellect which will lead the country’s journey towards prosperity,” he said this while addressing a large number of students coming from different areas of Balochistan.
He informed the students that Punjab had revised the number of scholarships for the students of Balochistan in higher education taking it to 360 from 135.
He said that to ensure the overall progress of the country, uniform development of all the units of the federation was important for an overall progress of the country.
He also said the development and uplift of Balochistan was actually the development of Pakistan and collective efforts should be made for the prosperity of the country.
