Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has severely criticized the political games played by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) during the coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement issued on Friday, the chief minister said that the people were fighting with a pandemic while the PDM was holding nonstop public demonstrations.
He added that public would never forget this negligent attitude of the opposition parties.
The behavior of the PDM was very disappointing during the second wave of the COVID-19, he said adding that coronavirus had changed the outlook and behaviours of the whole world but the opposition parties in Pakistan were showing inflexibility.
He also said that people should not get attracted to the false claims of the PDM and stay at home to themselves and their loved ones safe.
He also requested the public to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to end the deadly virus in the country.
