Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Government of Pakistan and banned Tehreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) are on the same page in their fight against Islamophobia.
While addressing the nation through a PTV appearance on Monday, he cleared the government’s stance about the ongoing situation in the country.
He said that the government and TLP both are fighting against the same cause and that is the finality of Muhammad’s Prophethood (PBUH).
He further said that the way TLP was taking the things up was not right and it would not do any harm to France even if the government sends the French ambassador packing. In fact, it would harm the economy of Pakistan, he added.
He stressed that if maximum Muslim countries boycott France and its products, it would definitely cause harm to the country.
He said that all the Muslim countries must unite to fight against the Islamophobia that is being practiced in the West in the name of freedom of speech.
