Imran Khan to appear in Anti-Terrorism Court over vandalism charges

 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is set to be presented to the court for a physical remand in connection with vandalism cases by the police today.

Reportedly, Imran Khan will be presented for the hearing to an anti-terrorism court set up in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail.

Imran Khan is the only prime minister in Pakistan’s political history to have been ousted through a vote of no-confidence. He has been in jail for over a year and faces several cases against him.

Khan was last time arrested an hour later as he got bail in the Toshakhana case in September.

A cases were registered against him under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) and relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), alleging incitement to arson and property damage.
