Lahore Leads University’s (LLU) Department of Politics & International Relations and Pakistan Research Centre for Community with a Shared Future (PRCCSF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the other day.
As per details, LLU Department of Politics & IR Chairperson Dr. Khadeeja Imran and PRCCSF Executive Director Lt. Col. Khalid Taimur Akram, under the supervision of Lahore Leads University (LLU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti, and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Dr. Rafaqat Ali Akbar, signed an MoU at the main campus of LLU. The MoU is expected to connect both the organisations for conducting joint analyses of the national and international politics.
As per the MoU, brief reports in the areas of foreign policy, strategic issues, international relations, international law, foreign economic relations, emergency management, and other relevant areas will be first discussed and then elaborated for the participants of both the organizations.
While talking on the occasion, Dr. Khadeeja Imran said, “This MoU marks the beginning of a new chapter of research and innovation at LLU’s Department of Politics & IR. With the help of this MoU, our staff and students will be able to access the latest studies on national and international politics. We shall try to fully utilize this opportunity in the best interests of our students and faculty members.”
Lt. Col. Khalid Taimur Akram said on the occasion, “PRCCSF is a globally known organization and it works for uplifting the research standards in the areas of foreign policy, strategic issues, international relations, international law, foreign economic relations, emergency management, etc. He also said that, with LLU, PRCCSF will definitely closely work to conduct joint analyses of the national and international politics.
Dr. Sapna Mumtaz, Assistant Professor at the Department of Politics & IR, effectively coordinated with PRCCSF team and organized the whole event. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Rafaqat Ali Akbar, congratulated both the parties.
