WASA starts test-run of digital complaint system

Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) has started accepting complaints online on trial basis for digital complaint system at WASA.

According to the details, WASA Vice Chairman Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood and WASA MD Syed Zahid Aziz were briefed about this development at WASA’s Gulberg office on Saturday.

After the briefing, Sheikh Imtiaz said that Complaint Monitoring System will be officially launched soon.

Our aim is to establish WASA as the best serving organization for the good and welfare of the masses, he added.

Zahid Aziz said that according to the digital complaint system at WASA all the complaints would be registered online with the help of the tablets provided to the staff at WASA.

Director EGA, Saflain Haider, elaborates on Complaint Management System successfully deployed by PITB for WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency). Public can call on toll-free number 1334 for immediate and speedy response to their complaints regarding drinking water and drainage issues.

He further said that consumers would be able to track their complaints with the help of a specific android application.

He also said that all the directors including MD and DMD would monitor the whole activity with the help of monitoring screens installed at their offices.
