Changing weather especially from summers to winters is highly vulnerable time to get caught by cold and cold vaccination is highly recommended during this time, Capt. (Rtd) Prof. Dr. Arshad Humayon said this while appearing as a guest speaker on a TV channel.
As per details, Capt. (Rtd) Prof. Dr. Arshad Humayon has said that changing weather especially from summers to winters is a time when anybody may get caught by cold and flu. While taking precautionary measures in this regard, cold & flu vaccination is also recommended, he said adding that majority of the kids get caught by cold and flu due to the changing weather so prior vaccination is a good precautionary measure in this regard.
He further said that patients after having cold or flu should consult a doctor instead of going for self-medication. He also said that using antibiotics without consulting a doctor can be very dangerous so always consult a doctor after getting caught by cold, flu or any minor ailment.
He also said that smog is gradually prevailing in the surroundings so putting on mask is very important in this situation as it lessens the chances of getting caught by seasonal diseases.
