As per details, Zubair Khan, besides running many other businesses, also owns a restaurant Albaik in Kasur and that also at a very prime location of the city.
With a spirit to serve the people of his city, he offers free food for the poor on regular basis.
The best thing he has done for the white collar people who are hesitant of having free food is; breakfast in just twenty rupees.
Anybody can buy a complete breakfast of two Naans and a bowl of Chana from his restaurant Albaik by paying just twenty rupees.
This Ramzan, besides offering free food for the poor, he offered a Sehri of two parathas and a gravy or omelet with a glass of lassi in just 50 rupees.
While talking to Country Today (CT), Zubair Khan said that he used to offer free food for the poor people of the city but at a certain point of time he realized that there must be something for the white collar people who hesitate of getting free food. He further said that after some homework he started selling food at very low price so that everybody could buy the food with dignity.
He also mentioned that, other than food, free masks are also regularly distributed at the restaurant to create awareness about the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the COVID-19 pandemic.
